Puttin It Down Acoustic Version. Cyrus' Theme. Puttin It Down. Multi Love. It brought me back to where I already was. Sometimes I wonder about polyamory as a symptom of greed, if it was just that I was getting caught up in America and got caught up in more money, more love. I think the events just happened—let it happen. I felt like it was something related to the record that I was making, that I was like, this is supposed to happen.

The content of the songs is the most important. The production is just a frame, a way of presenting it to people. It opens a few more doors. Over time, predicting something will only obscure that. I was thinking about that a lot. I think it helped. If I had to go back to one microphone, I would still have the priority of communicating directly. Just communicate something real in the most direct sense, and production and sound quality really factor into that.

Almost gives it a retro feel like something from the 60's. I love this band. Blinding track, also heard it on Radio 6. Super nostalgic vibe going on here, could be years old :D.

JE5 I came here after hearing it on Radio 6 too and it was totally the lo-fi production which caught my attention. Listened to this track about a dozen times today and it could well be my song of the year, but I'd hate to hear it all big and shiny and bombastic, leave it well alone, sounds perfect as it is, makes me nostalgic in a weird way and I love that. Each to their own I guess but personally I have never been a fan of big, clean and sterile production in any type of music.

MrKschlott yeah I get the lo-fi thing, but sorry I think that the production on this seriously gets in the way, you end up thinking too much about why it sounds so awful, which then distracts from the fantastic tune.

Let me be clear this is a truly fabulous tune- I want the world to hear this tune, however this tune is let down by the truly awful production, this production makes it sounds like listening to someone listening to AM radio station via their mobile phone. I implore UMO to take this fantastic tune to a proper producer to unleash the full potential of this tune. I went to go see these guys last night in dallas and Jake bass player sat right by me and buddy while another band was opening before them.

All around chill ass guy. Love this band. I heard this song before I saw them open for Toro Y Moi and couldn't tell if it was a cover or not.

They are awesome too. Damn, i have never head these guys before but i just bought a ticket to a show they are playing at so i thought i'de check em out. In "Nerve Damage", I hear Pixies plus that way cool ya-ya-ya effect on the guitar! And in all of it, I hear something totally unique - UMO! Ruban Nielsen is pulling the freshest sounds I've heard from a guitar in a long time. Thats why I'm Here And Ffunny Ffriends is a great tune too.
